ABOUT THE JOHN DORY
The John Dory is a truly unique fish with its odd-looking appearance, its flat, oval body and large spiny head & fins. Also known as St Peter’s fish, they’re found all over the world and reach lengths of 65 cm and weigh a few pounds. The fish moves slowly by rippling its fins and is a poor swimmer, so it hunts by lying in wait for its prey, feeding on crustaceans, small fish, and cuttlefish.
