Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper, a high-quality Fine Art paper with impressive pictorial depth.

The print is from one of 4 original paintings in this flat colour poster style, completed during my time living and working in Cornwall. It was hand-painted in acrylic, and coloured with thin layers to achieve this perfectly flat finish.

ABOUT THE BALLAN WRASSE
The ballan wrasse is a species of marine fish found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, where it inhabits rocky areas. It is a large, heavy bodied fish with a large head, and have incredibly strong teeth which they use to pull molluscs and barnacles off the rocks.  Interestingly, all ballan wrasse start off life as females but the most dominant fish will become males later on in life.
