The Atlantic pollock (also know as pollack), are found in the North Atlantic & Northern Europe, and is a member of the cod family. It is distinguished from cod by its greenish hue and brownish-green back. They grow to more than 3½ feet long and weigh up to 35 pounds, and prey mainly on other fish.
