ABOUT THE SALMON
The Atlantic salmon is a large fish that spends most of its life at sea, but normally returns to spawn in the same stretch of river or stream in which it hatched. They live in freshwater as juveniles but migrate to the sea to take advantage of rich feeding in the ocean. Salmon are predators, feeding on invertebrates and small fish.
