CAREER SUMMARY
Craig started his career as a freelance illustrator in the mid 1980’s, after studying Scientific Illustration at Middlesex Uni, London.
His expertise has encompassed a wide range of fields over the years, including; wildlife illustrations for publishing, stylised art for advertising, and hyper-realistic fruit & food paintings for packaging. He worked on many high profile brands for marketing agencies in London.
His preferred field and passion however was in wildlife, and he has created work for numerous books, magazines, stamps and scientific journals.
In 2001, Craig opted to have a break from the illustration business, starting a new career as a Web Designer, and later going on to setup a successful web design & marketing company.
After nearly 20 years of working in the web industry, he retired from the business to start painting again, from his studio in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.
